DR. LESLIE A. KAPLAN

Adolescent and Young Adult Medicine

​

Dr. Kaplan is a pediatrician specializing in adolescent and young adult medicine, with 20 years of experience serving the special medical needs of patients with eating disorders.

A Certified Eating Disorder Specialist, she is thrilled to bring her unique medical expertise and passion for caring for this wonderful population to private practice, where she is unfettered by time constraints!

After receiving her medical degree from UCLA, she went on to a Pediatrics Residency at Kaiser Permanente Los Angeles, and an Adolescent Medicine Fellowship at Children's Hospital Los Angeles.  Dr. Kaplan has worked with countless eating disorder patients in the Southern California region at Pepperdine University, heading the Eating Disorder Treatment Team,  at Kaiser Permanente Woodland Hills as Co-Director of the Eating Disorder Clinic, and as supervising physician at a local eating disorder treatment center.

She is also very excited to be part of The Calabasas Pediatrics Team, providing general medical care to teens and young adults in the Calabasas Wellness Center model. 

She is a mother of three adolescent/ young adult daughters and a wife to a wonderful husband of 25 years.
